Our journey began in 2004 with a vision to bring together and inspire an engaged membership--one that reflects our community ideals and the values of the Democratic Party. That vision holds true today.

Join us!

Wed., October 11th

Please join the club in welcoming Assemblyman Brian Maienschein (Dist 76) and Deputy City Attorney Heather Ferbert to a candidates forum in the 2024 City Attorney’s race.  Both candidates will discuss their experience and qualifications for the office as well as their plans if they are elected.  They will also field questions from club members.  Following the forum, the club will vote on an endorsement in the race.

The club will also hold a vote on a friendly incumbent endorsement for Terra Lawson-Remer in the County Board of Supervisors District 6 race, which the Republicans have targeted to flip to red next year.  Her Republican opponent will likely be former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer.  It is critical that Terra win this race to maintain the Democratic majority on the board, which has accomplished so much good for the county since the last election.

Please remember, per club Bylaws, in order to be eligible to vote for endorsements, a member must be in good standing, and must have been a member of the club for 60 days and attended at least one meeting prior to the endorsement meeting

6:30 pm for social gathering
