Please join the Club in welcoming Kim Fountain (she/they), PhD, who is the Deputy CEO of the San Diego LGBT Community Center. The San Diego LGBT Community Center enhances and sustains the health & well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, nonbinary, immigrant, and HIV communities to the betterment of our entire San Diego region. She has worked in the LGBTQ+ Movement for nearly 30 years.   

Prior, she was Chief Administrative Officer at Center on Halsted, an LGBTQ+ community center, where she focused on external engagements and was a member of several working groups and committees including the Chicago Mayor’s Office Advisory Council on Women, the Board of Commissioners of the Chicago Commission on Human Relations, and the Chicago Hate Crimes Coalition. She is a cultural anthropologist and published author. Dr. Fountain also served on the Board of Directors of the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum and the NY State Coalition Against Sexual Violence.

Kim will discuss the history of the San Diego LGBT Community Center and the services and programs it offers to our San Diego Community.
